Sad and a little confused

When I was 6 weeks pregnant I had light bleeding and was told to go to the er, they gave me an ultrasound and told me how far along I was. I never got to see my baby once and I didn’t get photos, my partner also wasn’t there.

Now I’m almost 12 weeks and the health care provider I chose has finally made room for me to go in for my first prenatal appointment. Once I mentioned the er They said I needed to fax over the paperwork, implying that the ultrasound I got was good enough.

I don’t mean to sound picky but it makes me a little sad that I can’t actually have a picture at least.
