How would you handle this? Need positivity&prayers right now :(

My husband has been with his career for a long time, he’s always getting recognition, raises, and not to be corny but always gets employee of the month. He does his job above and beyond. Well there are a lot of slackers at that job like anywhere else and something terrible happened. There is suppose to be another guy working with my husband, patrolling bottom floor while my husband patrols top floor/unit. Well the guy decided to leave his unit to go chit chat and chaos broke out so my husband went to check on him only to find out he was not there and to find an inmate hung him self with a bedsheet! The other guy is popular out there with all of the officers so they decided my husband will be blamed since he was the only one there for two halls, even tho that is not his unit! You are responsible for your unit. So investigators and everything came to question my husband and they decided that my husband did NOTHING wrong, all of his paperwork was up to date& that it’s the guys fault for leaving his unit and the prisons fault for allowing it. All of the sergeants and main officers all agreed it was not my husband’s fault but the other guy for not doing his job and leaving it unattended. So even though they all agreed, the main Warden WHO WAS NOT EVEN THERE came up there and told my husband he was fired and he better never see his face again. The other guy is his friend and did not get fired he’s allowed to get paid until the investigation is over. He fired my husband wrongfully. He may never get to work in his career again bc he may try to blackball him. I am also 6 months pregnant now we have no income. Even the assistant warden that was actually there said it’s not my husband’s fault, that was not his duty but he didn’t care. I’m thinking the investigators were probably on the Wardens behind and he’s upset at the heat they’re about to face and took it out on my husband. Do you think we have a case or what would you do??
