Non smoking parents

Did it bother you to let your child sleep at a relatives house that smokes? I’m a former smoker (quit over 5 years ago) and now the smell of smoke makes me sick. I can’t stand the thought of my 1 year old coming home from my mother in laws smelling like smoke. He hasn’t been inside their house yet but it’s getting colder here and they are wanting him to nap there when they watch him. Just wondering if this bothers anyone else or if I’m overreacting. Thanks!
