I do however think that variable interest rates shouldnt be a thing.

Yes. They already make money with every transaction you make by charging the merchant a small fee. Plus, annual fee, plus interest. They are making money with people struggling. The people that spend money they don’t have for stuff they don’t need is one thing. But the people that have no choice, are stuck in this vicious cycle of just making the minimum payment.

I’m kinda confused about this question..
There’s already limits? I would rather have a fixed rate than a variable one, there’s limits the variable has as well. It also depends on the usage of the card. Do you mean a max interest fee in total? Like a cap instead of %? 
I’m not entirely knowledgeable on different types of loans but I think that will only benefit the rich and hurt the poor.

I agree. I worked at a title loan office and the APR was 304.17! I felt like I was robbing people but it was totally legal. Sad.

There are limits where i live. My mom owns one of these companies and the rates actually get lower and lower almost annually at this point
