Past cheating...

Is it normal to not trust your significant other even after you both got married through the church, had two other babies... I was a bitch in the beginning of our relationship and my husband cheated on me a couple of times. But now it’s so hard to get over. We recently also found out he has thyroid cancer and will need surgery. I just can’t seem to get over the past. Any advice? It’s been about 6 years since he cheated.
