My in laws .....anyone elses like this?

This really isn't that big of a deal I'm just curious on others people thoughts...we were over to my in laws house with our almost 2 week old newborn...they kept asking if she just slept all day and would she be up all night like it was a problem....my husband and I are like..she's a newborn...they eat sleep and poop....

It seems like a normal question for someone staying overnight in your home. I guess i dont see the issue?

Sometimes harmless questions come out and seem harsher then they are. Listen girl, the first thing my MIL asked when we announced our pregnancy was “are you sure it’s (my partners name.)?” in front of his whole family. If it isn’t directly rude I wouldn’t spend much time on it. You’re going to have a life time of things that are going to piss you off just pick and choose your battles. Also your hormones are all over the place and if your the tiniest bit like I was... bite your tongue.

At 2 weeks lol let her live but with babies older than that I be pokin em like “no sir you can sleep with the rest of us”
