Memory loss.. missing jeans, husband =mad

Does anyone else experience some hard-to-remember times? Like recent? I am literally feeling crazy and broke down. And it’s over something as simple as jeans!

I had two traumatic health events in 2011 and 2020. I think that and possibly my medicine is causing memory loss at times because several people have the same issues.

When we got back from out of town on the 1st, thought I remembered placing my favorite pair of jeans in a white bag for laundry to wash as soon as we were home. I could have swore I wore them on last Sunday with a certain shirt. My husband found the shirt upstairs in that laundry which I said okay then the pants are here somewhere too. Now we have tore this place apart - they are nowhere. He said call your mom maybe they’re there. Well I didn’t take them there, I always wear my work clothes when I take my daughter to drop her off. So since I could’ve swore I wore those exact pants, now I’m wondering did I wear the other dark wash that are similar?? I called the place we stayed at and the person told me that their lost and found bin is usually for items such as jewelry, watches, etc and that if clothing was left behind the housekeeping people generally toss it due to covid restrictions. So if I did leave them, they are gone - but I’m having such a hard time remembering if I wore them Sunday or not. I mean I can’t find them so that seems like the only explanation. I have not been anywhere else, nor would I be changing clothes. I feel awful because my memory is crap right now. And on top of that, now my husband is literally accusing me of “leaving them somewhere” I have not ever cheated on him. He said he’s riding around and tired of “the lies” and “if you’re saying now you left them at the hotel you’re full of it” etc
