Oral herpes ?

Question

I don’t think I have oral herpes but I just need someone to tell me if I’m wrong or not . I have these bumps under my 
Tongue and on the side of my mouth. They are red and white. But I don’t know if it’s from me accidentally biting it or what . ￼￼but the thing is it’s not on my lip or outside my mouth so I don’t know .

It could be herpes sores. But there are canker sores too, which aren’t herpes. They’re dietary or stress/hormone related, or due to poor oral hygiene. It could be either. If you’ve never had canker sores and aren’t sure of the differences, then it’s best to see your doctor to make sure. Usually with canker sores you just need to assess your diet, use a medicated mouth wash that a doctor or the dentist can prescribe you, or drink more water. If it is canker sores, getting a blood panel to check vitamin/mineral levels and your hormones wouldn’t hurt. Sometimes it can mean you’re deficient in certain vitamins.
