I would say live with a parent if they are truly helpful and supportive. This way you can manage childcare and also bills under limited stress. 
It’s a tough road to navigate at first because they have to adjust to you as a parent.

If I was in that situation, I’d live near my parents, even same community if possible. That way I’d have their help and support when needed but still have my independence.

I have the Best relationship with my parents so I was with them as a single mom. Instead of stressing while on my own. But I had my own tiny apartment at their house so it’s a tiny bit different 🤷🏻‍♀️ but even at our old house I’d rather be there then on my own

I was a single mom for 5 years before I got married and I lived on my own with my two kiddos. Just I felt like I’m just too independent to live with anyone. But every situation is different.

Depends on the situation. I have a great relationship with my mom and we have similar parenting styles. 
For me: it would definitely be better to live with my mom because there’d be two caregivers. It’d be easier for me, and my kid would have two people loving on her/giving her attention regularly. 
Although I’d have to consider the toll it might take on my mom as she’s getting up there in age...
