What do you think of my ex texting me this...

So my ex (who I was with for 5 years) broke up with me last month.

He broke up with me because we started to grow apart and want different things. When he broke up with me, he told he started talking to another woman and he felt like they had more in common.

I was absolutely devastated and heartbroken.

I have been so hurt and in pain and upset for the past month.

A friend that knows him told me that it didn’t work out between him and that other girl and they don’t talk anymore.

He texted me today and asked how I was doing and I said that I’ve been doing alright .... and he said that he’s been “sad and lonely “

I’m like , are you serious ?? HES SAD AND LONELY ? He left me for another woman, leaving me alone and heartbroken. I cried all the time and couldn’t sleep or eat for weeks. And because that girl didn’t want him, he wanted to come crawling back to me ???

The worst part is I actually felt bad when I read that text, but then I thought to myself, when did he care that I was depressed and lonely for the last month??? Just because he couldn’t find a better woman than me, doesn’t mean he can come crawling back. He broke my trust.
