Did you start interacting differently with your pets after you had a baby?

I have a lovely cat which I have always treated with love, but since I gave birth and have an actual baby in the house, my brain decided that my cat is another baby 🤷‍♀️

Like... I often wake up at night in panic because my cat is sleeping next to me and I'm afraid she'll roll off from bed 😅 and I also started speaking my mothertongue (not English) to my cat very often to "develop her language skills" as I do to my baby, until I realize that this makes no sense, and this happens daily! I also sometimes call my cat with my baby's name 🙈

Am I the only one going crazy here or is this normal? 😅
