friends with ex?

so this is going to be hard to summarize because there’s so much context but i’ll try. so basically i met this guy at college and we ended up dating for like 3 months then it all went downhill. we talked about our future and concluded it was one sided on my side but also we both weren’t in love. despite all this we loved each other in a way and had something but it just wasn’t genuine love. we eventually settled on being friends in march and have talked everyday since but now he’s leaving me on delivered a lot and just not into the convos anymore so it doesn’t even seem like a friendship. just kind of feel like i’m watering a dead plant. thoughts??
