Croup Alert & Communication

Kimberly

I know it is rarely serious, but last night was different. My 4-year-old son had a sore throat, cough, tummy/ear ache, & a fever of 103.4, so to not risk it getting higher, I took him to the ER. He had a breathing treatment done & was throwing up. My in-laws said that must’ve not been that serious, but they were misunderstood since his father wouldn’t let me explain everything. He thought I said 100.3, but I clearly said 103 before he cut me off. I’m angry & I have every right to be angry, but I’m being told that I was overreacting & getting way too emotional. Thoughts?
