should I wake baby during the night for nursing?

I’m asking this because with my son when he was that small he would wake up every 3 hours to feed. It’s been 4 hours since her last feeding and I don’t know if I should wake her? Shes 8 weeks old so I mean I don’t wanna lose my milk supply either…? Also feel like I should wake her to change her diaper lol …. I need some advice/help. 
she went one night 6 hours (my boobs were hard as rocks when she woke up) and that’s cause I slept through the alarm I have to make sure she’s feeding every 3 hours if she doesn’t wake before then…

No way. I make sure my 8 week old gets enough during the day by feeding every 3 hours but at night I let him sleep. The longest I’ve gotten is 5.5 hours and it hasn’t effected my milk supply at all.

Typically- If she’s regained her birth weight and is having good diaper output, you shouldn’t have to wake her every 3 hours.

As long as there’s enough wet diapers and weight gain is fine the. No let baby sleep. Don’t pump but just hand express a little for comfort.

If she continues to sleep longer and you’re worried about supply, you could always do a quick pump after the first 3 hours.
