My Not So Little Preemie

My third - and last - pregnancy was completely unplanned from start to finish. I was 9 months PP with my second and had no plans of having two under two, let alone anymore children.

Along came Caius - a baby I didn’t know I needed.

Caius was born nearly 4 weeks early at 36 weeks. Part of me was grateful because I was miserable. My hips were in so much pain from what I was told was a giant baby. I also was diagnosed with having excessive amount of amniotic fluid, which threw us into more stress as we were told all the horrific things this could be because of.

So on November 9th, after 36 hours of labor and about 5 pushes, Caius Gregory Campbell was born ❤️

8 lbs 14 oz and 21 1/4 inches long - my baby spent a week in the NICU and has been home with us since. My life is so complete and words cannot express how happy I am that he’s here and he’s ok!
