Could you forgive your “best friend” ( read below)

I had a divorce party that my best friend threw for me. She knows that my husband was a serial cheater and I try to make it work for the kids. But this time I put myself first and filed for divorce. Divorce was finalized and she threw the party for me. A lot of my girlfriends were there and one of my sister’s best friend told me that there was a rumor that my best friend slept with my husband at one point while I was married to him still. And that no one wanted to tell me because they thought I wouldn’t believe them.

My husband told me this before I filed for the divorce as well but I didn’t believe him because I thought he just wanted to make me upset. Come to find out it’s true because I asked my best friend about it and she confessed and said it was two years ago. This is around the time I had a miscarriage. So I was in a funk and didn’t want to speak to anyone so I guess that’s when it happened. She asked me to forgive her but I don’t think I can. we were married for 7 years and she’s the god mother of my 3 kids!
