Forgotten anniversary

So my SO forgot our 3 years anniversary...

He was always the one that remembered the date, that's why I had it in my calendar 😅

We don't live together and since he has to revise for his exams at uni we moved our anniversary date night to after his exams but I really didn't thought he'll forget about it all.

We've been messaging all day and I was waiting for him to say something, throughout the day he probably studied for like 3h( and studying was the reason we moved the date night) he played on ps5 and wachted football games etc, and I final said to him if he forgot something and then he realised and called me but it was after midnight but then so yeah... he said his really sorry and that he was 'busy' and forgot about, bit it like I'm just not as important to him as football or ps5 cuz he never forgets dates for that.

He said we could pick a place to go to for it so he also forgot that we already planned what we're gonna do for it next week.

Am I over reacting ? He never forgets his plans with his friends or football games but he forgot about our anniversaries and the plans we made for it? It just makes me feel so low on his 'important things' list
