14 month old won’t get off the boob at night- help
She’s been a terrible sleeper even in the newborn phase. I just became so exhausted I felt like there was no other choice but to give her boob to fall asleep and that’s what she did. She refused the pacifiers too of course. But it’s just gotten to the point where napping and sleeping, she needs the boob to fall asleep. She’s a terrible sleeper where she wakes up multiple times and I have to give her boob to fall back sleep. No patting doesn’t help and no rocking doesn’t help. And I don’t particularly want to wake up multiple times to rock her back to sleep.
The reason I’ve let this go on for too long is because she has pretty bad eczema and wakes up scratching herself. Worst is on her head which we put some hydrocortisone cream on the dr. Prescribed. It somewhat works but she still scratches quite a bit.
But at this point I just need her off the boob at night, I feel like it’s not good for either of us. I’m worried about her teeth.
If anyone could share some tips that would be great.
