Signing forms to consent to sex
I didn't know it was real. I saw something about it on Facebook and truly didn't believe it was real until my son got back from college. Me and him are extremely close and he knows he can talk to me about stuff. Even sexual stuff. I know he's bicurious and was experimenting at college. He told me a guy tried to have him sign this form saying he consented to sex and talked about the positions. I said that's weird and asked if he signed it. He said he thought the whole thing was weird. And thought if he signed it then he can't stop sex because he already signed this paper and the paper said nothing about stopping sex. So he ended up not doing it with him. Apparently some colleges are trying to get students to start doing but it seems weird.
@Narwalsarereal I agree. I mean with that they can see it as they don't have to stop sex if the person asks. Maybe it would be different if there was an area where both people signed if sex was stopped? Idk it seems like a free rape pass for the legal system.
@Realist I'm not sure. I've just heard that some colleges have been encouraging these type of forms.
@Nikki I get what you mean there but according to my son it wasn't like that. It was basically a this isn't rape contract that just stated he's consenting to sex and stuff but stated nothing about being able to stop sex if he wanted to. That's why he felt uneasy about it. Because if he did ask to stop and the guy didn't and it then becomes rape he can just say it wasn't and here's the contract to prove it.
