Sick with rash

My daughter went back to school yesterday but after a few hours, the nurse called and said she was feeling sick so I had to pick her up. When I picked her up, she said that after P.E her throat started hurting. As the day went on, her head started hurting as well and her eyes were red. She was completely fine in the morning so I'm not sure what it is. She stayed home today because we noticed this rash. It's in this area as well as her feet and a little on her wrist. It is also itchy.

I feel bad keeping her home from school. It's day 2 of school and she's missed a day and a half. It sucks but I want to make sure she's OK and that this isn't contagious. My husband thinks this is from the heat and that she may have felt sick because it was hot during PE (we live in California) She has a virtual doctor appointment in an hour.
