Is anyone dating/married to someone of opposite political party?

I met a guy and we immediately fell in love..
We are each other’s perfect ideal types. I’ve dated so many men in the past and he’s closest to my ‘dream guy’ type I’ve ever met. He’s extremely intelligent and educated, kind, fun etc.. 
except the fact that: i am a liberal feminist and he doesn’t believe in abortion and wants to allow gun ownership

Idk. I am someone that likes to stay out of politics. I simply don’t care for them.
But the only politics I care about is abortion.
I care about other women having that choice to decide what to do with their body and I also care about birth control.
So, I don’t think I would want to be with a man that doesn’t support abortion as a choice for other women. It shows me he lacks knowledge about everyone’s different situations on why they would abort.

Nope. My husband and I have the same views on major issues like abortion and gun rights, but as a whole my husband doesn't give 2 shits about politics. We have the same views, but I prefer harsher punishments. That's pretty much the only difference. Again, my husband really couldn't care less about most politics.

Hard no. I actually know two couples who have split in recent years due to opposite political views. It would be really tough for me to stay with my husband if his views weren’t the same as mine, especially on abortion. (Pro-choice)

My partner and I are opposite. But the way we look at it is one vote cancels the other so it’s even. We don’t really talk about politics.
