Am I in the wrong?

I took my dad to get colonoscopy done Monday and they told us he has rectal cancer I’ve been around my dad a lot since then he’s been very upset to the point he’s having suicidal thoughts I thought my husband would be there and be considerate of what’s going on yesterday we went to my parents late at night because my dad had ordered pizza and was waiting for me and my daughters we got there and my daughter was missing one shoe so I told him to put the other pair of shoes that were there and he started calling me and idiot and a retard and that he was going back home so I just got back in the car without saying anything to anyone they were wondering why I had just got there and left but didn’t want them to know. We got home and he wanted his card back and i was just get away from me you don’t respect what I’m going through with my dad and he started screaming at me to give him his card back I usually will have it in my phone case so took my phone away and was threatening to destroy it if I didn’t give him his card back which at time was in glove compartment I told him why is he fighting over his card we’re married I’m not spending his money I’m a SAHM and don’t have a single penny when he went to get it I grabbed too and broke and he started hitting me pulling my hair and opened a can of Diet Coke and poured all over my face he threw my phone across the yard our girls were in the back seat watching it all I asked him after why doesn’t respect me and told me that he doesn’t love me and that I don’t get it through my fucking head and he’s been wanting a divorce i always apologize even if he’s in the wrong he can see me crying and just act like nothing wrong idk what to do any little thing can make him start being mean what do y’all think I should do?
