Just a vent

My boyfriend and I were driving home and we had a conversation about not agreeing with gay people but still respecting their pronouns and respecting them as people. We only had this conversation because I had a gay friend who is openly gay go missing but was found but my mom and my boyfriend kept referring to her (originally born a he) as “him” or “they” and I let them know her pronouns were she/her. Well they kept doing their own thing and I kept correcting them and finally I let them know they were being rude and disrespectful because even if you do not agree with someone’s decision at least respect them enough as people to call them what they want to be called. You’d think my mom would be more understanding as she literally has a friend in the same situation and she literally goes to her defense when people refer to her as “he”. But ANYWAYS .. my boyfriend and I separately had a discussion about this on our way home and he kept saying I was disrespecting God but respecting them and I just said okay I have my opinion and he has his , because it is a controversial topic and I get that. I did ask him not to teach our children to disrespect people just because of their decision because I’m teaching my children to respect any and everyone despite race/religion/ gender etc. Well he hated that I said that and also hated my opinion and began to call me a dumb bitch and an ugly bitch and stuff so me out of reflex , I repeated those things to him but made it about his mother because of you can disrespect me the mother of your child, I can disrespect your mother. And i’ve told him this before given that he’s called me out of my name before and i did the same thing then. Well as I’m driving and we are doing this back and forth, he pulls my hair extremely hard. AS IM DRIVING. Then he snatches me up. Like i’m so pissed. I’m so irritated and i’m trying not to stress it because I’m pregnant now and he knows that. But it’s just like that was so uncalled for.
