MRSA POSITIVE

Hey everyone

I’m having a C-section on Thursday 14th Sept. I had my last antenatal appointment on 1st September where I was tested for Nose and Groin MRSA, I have no symptoms of it though and no bumps or anything, the results were back on Wednesday 6th but the hospital decided to tell me this morning Sunday 10th that my results were positive. I was never tested with my son as he wasn’t a planned csection.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Were you able to have skin to skin contact with your child?
