Depression medication question
My husband started antidepressants in 2020 (Lexapro). He recently made a plan with his doctor to wean off because they make him feel “foggy.” Now that he’s completely off them he is angry/irritated/grumpy what seems like all the time. The littlest things set him off and make him mad. He seems like a completely different person. He was never this angry before starting the antidepressants. I’m wondering if the anger is a phase that follows stopping this type of medication? Or if this anger is here to stay…. Feeling super discouraged as I don’t know how to help him. I can tell he is emotional too and not doing well. Wondering if anyone has any insight to share…
