Should I wake my son up?
I might get an answer after my son wakes on his own, but at least for future reference I wanted some advice. My son is 14 months old in a week. He’s been waking up at 5:45am and taking one nap a day usually between noon-1pm and sleeps until 3pm-4pm. He has been recently teething and we’re just getting over a cold.
Today, I put him down for his nap at 1pm and it’s currently 6:20pm, dinner time. He’s napping way way longer than usual. I’ve checked on him several times now and he’s totally fine, just sleeping. He’s breathing normal, no high temp, he’s just happily and peacefully sleeping. His bedtime is usually around 8pm, I keep it as close to 8 as I can. Sometimes he goes to bed a little earlier, sometimes he goes to bed a little later.
I’m afraid that this extra long nap is going to interfere with his sleep tonight. So, I was wondering, should I wake him up or should I just let him sleep as long as he needs/wants to?
