Am I misscarrying?

Question

UK early pregnancy is not interested in giving me any help. 
I am 5+6 and for the last 2 days I have had continuous brown discharge, the last time this happened day 3 it was red and I miscarried. 
Does anyone have any experiences with this as epas has advised this is normal at this stage but I’ve only ever had it while having a miscarriage. 
We have been trying since our fist was born 3 years ago and couldn’t go through another loss again!

Ugh I’m sorry they won’t help. Brown spotting is how some of my miscarriages started. Once spotting and bleeding happened same day, another time I spotted for 2.5 weeks before bleeding. Some miscarriages I didn’t spot prior to either. I would just continue monitoring spotting. Spotting can happen in a healthy pregnancy! It does not for sure mean a miscarriage. Your cervix is easily irritated right now so spotting can easily happen. I also spotted with my daughter (pink spotting). And they told me spotting can happen due to increased activity, dehydration, constipation, recently having a bowel movement, and sex. She told me no sex til spotting stopped and to take it easy and be sure to drink lots of water. If spotting continues, I’d be concerned something is wrong. I’m sorry you’re in this situation. I know the waiting period is the worst not knowing what’s going on
