Is it weird that I don’t have any girl friends ???

I think my boyfriend thinks I’m weird because I’m a loner. 
I am in my late 20s. I was close with my high school friends for the longest time. But recently, everyone went their separate ways and we don’t hang out anymore. I haven’t seen them in 2 years. My boyfriend never met them. 
My family has had some drama and some of them don’t get along and don’t get together anymore. So I don’t see much of my family anymore either. Just my mom mainly. 
I don’t go out with anyone. I don’t have girls nights. I don’t do anything too special for holidays. Honestly, it’s been kind of lonely. 
But it’s embarrassing because my boyfriend has asked me why I don’t have any girl friends and I think he thinks that it’s weird that I don’t. 
I haven’t made any new friends. I did hang out with one co worker and go to dinner with her, but she moved away and we lost touch.  
My bf is always going fishing, hunting, etc with his buddies. And I all I have is him

I’d start with looking into things you’re interested in whether that’s volunteering, book clubs, seeing what programs your library or park district have to offer, if there are any meet up groups on your local FB pages.  You’ll at least know the people there will share at one common connection that you can talk about.

I have my besties but they live states away. We last saw them about 2 yrs ago. But we have a daily group chat so we stay in touch. Just added my friend's girlfriend to the chat so I got a new girlfriend to chat with. Outside of that I have friends, but we don't hangout or like do girl's night or anything. We're all pretty much homebodies. Hubs is the same way. He doesn't really have any friends. He use to but got burnt one too many times and says life is easier without them. He's also a super homebody so we're cool just being home with the kids and if we want to go out it's usually bingo because no socializing 😂 We're 33 if that makes any difference. It's just we don't enjoy going out and doing the bar thing or the dinner and drinks thing. We're bingo and movies once the kids go to bed kind of people.

I don’t think it’s weird. I’m 26 & don’t really have any friends. At work I actually usually make friends with older women than people my age lol. I had friends in highschool I was close with, but they all moved away & our lives went in very different directions. I’m about to have my fourth baby, I’m married.. I don’t really have time to have a “girl’s night” anyways. I barely have time for myself lol. & I’m a pretty big introvert, so any free time I have - I generally prefer to spend it alone. I don’t have the energy for friends at this point in my life. It’s pretty normal for girls in their mid 20s - late 20s to not have friends. It’s harder to make friends at this age. If it doesn’t bother you, it shouldn’t bother him. I’m pretty content the way my life is. I have work friends & a family life. I don’t need any more right now.

I don’t have friends either, and haven’t since I was around 16, I’m 29 this month. So although I have my kids/husband it’s still pretty lonely 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not weird at all girly. Over the years I ended up with only 2 very close friends and now I only have one. I've never grown up around my family and am not used to them so I'm quite happy never seeing them. And I'm perfectly fine like this.

It's not really weird, as long as you make sure it's not unhealthy. In other words, as long as you understand that he does have a social life and he can't always be your only everything. 
I think some people look at lack of friends as a red flag because it is very easy to fall into thinking that your partner is all you've got and become codependent. That can be stressful on your partner. Having friends means you have more support, which puts less pressure on one person. So as long as you understand that and don't create that type of situation with him, it's fine. 
I am mostly a loner as well. I have three close friends. Only one of them I see every week. The other two I may see a couple of times a month. But the three of us all know that we are there when we need each other. I see value in creating relationships with others. I would always encourage someone to try to create a friendship with someone other than their spouse. Even if it's just one family member.

it’s not weird. as i got older and got married and had kids my friends started dropping like flies. i’m now almost 31 and have exactly one cousin and a friend that bails on every plan we make 😂 my problem is that i don’t have time to maintain a friendship with people that only want to do things that don’t involve my kids. so people fell off, and i cut people off. i’m left with almost no one but i don’t mind. my husband has A LOT of friends but none of them care to get to know our kids. they haven’t even met them and he’s almost 2 years old. that doesn’t fly with me but my husband doesn’t mind.

I don’t really have many girl friends either, just grew apart with them after high school and it’s so hard to make new friends out of school. My only girl friends are my sisters and I hang out with their girl friends sometimes. I’m honestly closer with my boyfriends friends. maybe you could ask to come with and hang out with his friends sometimes?
