Confused AF

This guy and I started talking last Saturday, everything was going well, we went on a date on Wednesday and it was really nice, we had a really good chemistry.

On Friday night we were texting and I told him that the date felt nice, that I could let me feel something more for him than just something more physical, he said that he would not close himself to feel more for me. On our first date we just kissed and hugged, but it really felt nice, like it was meant to be, and I think he felt that to, but yesterday he just woke up really distant, and we didn’t even text all day.

He is 37 and I am 29. I am confused, during the week he is just so nice and yesterday it was just so different.
