Schizophrenic sister i need some advice

My sister developed schizophrenia after 15 years of meth abuse. I still talk to her. It can be quite hard to do so. She feels alone and isolated and that thevliteral devilvis after her constantly. These episodes are here to stay when she is clean. Should i side step her episodes or should i entertain them. Im not really sure what to do here but i know shes just sick. We talk by phone as she lives 3 hours from us. I usually just ingorevor side step the episodes, fyi. Thanks in advance
