sexual incompatibility ??

so i’ve been seeing this guy for a handful of months now and we both really care for each other and things are going super good… besides the sex department.

we both have only been with one other person. he is less experienced than i am, as i was in a long term relationship and it taught me a lot of things that i know now not only about my body but others. also i am totally okay with him being less experienced, if anything it is nice to be able to show someone new things and make them feel good in ways they haven’t done but i’m struggling because he finishes really fast. in minutes. sometimes just a few thrusts in. we’ve tried slowing it down, stopping for a bit, and some foreplay before but nothing really seems to help. i enjoy doing stuff with my partner for a decent amount of time. i like a good build up, i like teasing, foreplay, etc, u get the point. but something i’ve also realized that throws me off is when we are kissing and getting to the point we begin stuff he’ll stop me to ask “what are we doing?” every single time. before we can even get to actually doing anything. i just want to be able to kiss and touch on each other instead of going straight to sex.

and i feel like i have to lead, and yes of course i always ask him if what im doing is okay. consent is key. it sucks because i honestly feel awkward at times leading up to the do, and it never really lasts long anyways and im just there afterwards feeling disappointed and sad. i also just want to be dominated at times but I AM ALWAYS ON TOP. can’t even switch positions before he finishes.

i just feel overall awkward about all of it and it’s really hard to bring up these concerns because i genuinely feel a sexual chemistry strain. but i am really attracted to him, like jump his bones typa stuff. i feel sexually frustrated. (he spends the night with me a lot and i work full time so it’s very hard to find my own time to relieve) idk please help!!!
