Exhausted!!
Long story short, at least I’ll try. We’re a small team of 5 and recently lost one of our employees. One person on our team got promoted within our team so now we have 2 new employees and 3 of us that have been here. So the person that got promoted is like a “teacher pet” that everyone hates. Since her promotion she became a “know it all” to every question and half the time she’s loud and wrong. This person now distributes work amongst me, himself and another girl that has been with the company for almost 2 decades. Meanwhile the person that’s equivalent to the lady that received a promotion does NOTHING!! I talk to the person that does nothing, but I am somewhat feeling some type of way because she makes more money than me but doesn’t work. She’s on her phone all day or in her car taking naps while me and others bust our ass. Granted, the person that got a promotion gives me all the complex work and he takes on all the easy work mentally that’s been here for almost 20 years only online shop, and don’t do ANY work that we do. I feel burnt out and overworked 😩

Yes, I’ve brought this up to my manager. Twice to be exact. Each time I ask about compensation it’s a different response so I’ve been in limbo. Also, the lady that’s been here for almost 2 decades her and the manager are very close and talk outside of work. And the teachers pet that got the promotion he does everything for her and she just loves her.
