Do you work from home?

Question

I'm looking into maybe becoming an NFP instructor and helping with online NFP classes or also probably being a part of a pregnancy care center for lessons there...
.
But other than that I have no idea. We really want a baby and I want to be a stay at home, but we can't live off of my husbands money alone. I nanny and have heard beautiful stories of nannies who have been able to bring their kids too and just ask for lower pay, but honestly I don't know if I could handle another little one in the hectic mess that is getting used to your first baby (especially in the newborn stage)...

Do you work from home? What do you do? Eventually I want to open an in home preschool or daycare, but at the moment we live in a smaller apartment and that's just not plausible right now.

I make great money working for a company that specializes in providing environmental site assessment reports to our clients. I prepare, analyze, and research aerial photographs by remoting in from my home computer. I've worked there for 15 years before they let me work from home and raise my daughter at the same time… Super grateful!

I work from home 4 days a week with a company computer offered by my employer. I am a Title Examiner in the Resl Estat/Insurance industry. I really hit the jackpot with this company. I commute into the office on Thurdays if the weather is good. It's amazing for my family, the flexibility in great with my 2 year old. I have raised him from home the past 2 years without daycare and still bring in my income. We are TTC #2 now, just started this cycle, and I know this will work well with a second baby too. Its hard sometimes, taking care of my son and getting my files done and sent, but you make do. I know it could be alot more stressful, shuffling to and fro and working in the office. I worked in the office environment my whole life, SO I know!! Good luck to you. Its incredible to work from home when you have small children. Not a month goes by I dont tell my boss so :-)

I'm a nanny to two boys and I've worked for them for almost 6 years now. Currently pregnant with our first and i do plan to bring our baby with me. I only work in the afternoons though.
