Concealer/foundation

Anyways, so since I got pregnant I started getting really horrible cystic acne all over my cheeks, it's finally calmed down and it's going away but I have dark spots and an uneven skin tone because of it and I'm working on getting it even again. I've been using tarte brand foundation and I feel like every time I put it on it makes my acne kinda flare up again but when I take it off they calm down again. So my question is, is there a foundation or concealer I can use that won't do that to my acne? I know a lot of people are going to say to stop putting makeup on but it's so hard for me to do that when I don't feel beautiful in my own skin and I have all these dark spots on my cheeks. I hope someone can help me.
