How do I get my DH to understand?

Need DH to understand that it's not him... It's me.

I can understand where you are coming from. It can be hard to watch your hubby doing a chore and you know you should appreciate it but in your head your like "that's not the way I do it!!!" But in fairness I think sometimes guys feel totally helpless  and just want to be part of the process and feel like they are being supportive. Maybe if he's doing something you'd rather do yourself just say 'that's ok Hun I'll do that, I want to keep busy". Or even do it together. I found if I 'helped' my husband with a chore he decided to take on, it made ME feel a bit better

Just give it a go! Try to relax at your own! If you can't see him working in your kitchen - take a walk meanwhile. You mustn't get under controll everything.... Maybe present him a cooking klass to help him get a better cooker. He should be able to cook basic things - maybe some day you'll need it. Try to get relaxed about things he does... He does it HIS way - you do it YOUR way.... They are different - but that's ok! There arealways  more ways to do something... Maybe you aren't used to it how HE handles things and stuff..

I appreciate the feedback. Honestly, in hindsight I regret writing this post. I'm being too hard on him and I know it. I just need to find better balance. His intentions are good, I tend to loose sight of this. Appreciate the time you all took to respond. My best to you all and I give you all nothing but support in your future endeavors with baby makin and such.

Advice on how I can get my DH to get off my case about how he can help. He just keeps messing things up. He can't cook, he always breaks stuff when he cleans and his wanting to communicate about every little thing is wearing on me. How can I gently tell him to back off, without hurting his fragile little feelings?
