The app isn't always accurate, it makes a guess based off of information you've tracked/input. Also, one day off is not too much to worry about.

Very normal to be off by a day or two. You might have a different cycle length than the default one on the app. Mine is shorter than the average woman, so I had to adjust the settings in the app.

The app doesn't know anything. It's guessing. Unless your tracking ovulation you don't know that you are late.
