Initial visit was very thorough, however, my following appointments were all given by different doctors one whom was condescending towards simple questions and another that injured me during my iui procedure (Dr Thie) and didn't apologize. I walked out with a tear to my lady area from the clamps and was bleeding. Customer service was great but appointments were rushed and information wasn't given unless asked, so my husband and I had to do independent research to ask about what we needed rather then have help to understand what was going on. Also, I found out later from a different physician that I ovulate around CD16 and my scheduled medications and injections were continuously scheduled earlier then my body was able to respond to. The clinic sticks to a generic 28 day cycle calendar where ovulation occurs around day 14. I have pcos and my body wasn't even given a fighting chance to have a successful IUI procedure. After 3 tries, we literally wasted 5 grand at this clinic. Insurance didn't cover our procedures and we left feeling hurt and disappointed. I do not recommend this location or the physicians from here to anyone.

Bethesda was absolutely amazing to my husband and I. The staff is caring and compassionate and takes time with their patients. I personally have been to other fertility clinics and Bethesda hands down exceeded any expectations I had after having poor experiences with other clinics.

Most wonderful care providers ever. For someone with high anxiety, they have handled all the twists and turns and panic attacks with grace, patience and love. Something truly unique is many of the staff have themselves gone through IVF. That extra bit of empathy for the process I'm going through makes a world of difference. Absolutely phenomenal experience for something not so phenomenal to have to experience.

We required 5 IUIs which resulted in 2 chemical pregnancies prior to our final, successful pregnancy that got us our beautiful daughter. I absolutely adored Dr. Reynolds, who actually got us pregnant each time, despite not being my "assigned" doctor. My "assigned" doctor actually no longer works there, which is a plus in my mind, as he was kind of strange & wasn't great at explaining things.

Dr. Thie is the only doctor in the practice so the care is very individualized. She works 7 days a week and rarely takes any time off. She tends to run behind but that is because she spends a lot of time with her patients.
