I really can't share about my experience with the nurses or docs but I will say that the front office does not make me comfortable at all. It was INCREDIBLY difficult to schedule, my husband is a doc so his schedule is tight as well but I gave them many dates we could make it work and none of it aligned with when their docs work, so much so that for that reason and the front desk telling me 'are you sure you're destined to make this appointment?' after our phone connection was bad that I decided to go elsewhere. That was very insensitive. That's a shame considering I'm willing to drive to another state to get better care from even just the front office. I've already been treated so much better by going elsewhere
This was my second clinic and much different than my first one so I was skeptical. But let me tell you it was amazing. My husband kept saying, “they actually take the time to answer all your crazy questions and explain it in a way we can understand”. The staff was amazing and there every step of the way. It made this horrible process so much easier.

Do not go here! Dr. Slater has no bedside manner. They just want to push ivf and iui’s. I fought with the front desk to get in for a HSG test after the Dr. said to call on cycle day one. Then they call me an hour before the test to cancel because I am allergic to shellfish and this test has dye in it. They had my records for a month and then waited to call an hour before the appointment? What the heck! They do not like to bill insurance even though they do take it. I needed an HSC and they were going to charge me 550 anesthesiologist plus my copay of 200. My insurance covers anesthesia! I sought a second opinion and my new Dr. is much better and my cost for the procedure is 200. Just don’t go here. Drive to Salt Lake or Portland.

I received treatment including IUI and one cycle of IVF over two years. ICRM was professional, caring, and committed to our goal to be parents. I never felt like a number to them. Dr. Slater is confident but realistic and I believe that is the best approach to fertility care.

They are pretty clinical there, but I am naturally pleased because we got pregnant on our first attempt with IVF. They are friendly but they are also busy, so sometimes it feels like your needs come second to the clinic's schedule. Dr. Slater jumped right in with options and costs on our consultation visit. I was quite overwhelming. We had JUST found out my tubes were scared shut and were still processing that fact. She didn't discuss any options except IVF. It felt like a whirl wind meeting. After that, we never spent much time with her, but she was always kind and professional. Once pregnant, I did mention I was choosing a birthing center instead of a hospital. She seemed put off by that, which was not encouraging, but I understand her reasons. Overall I would say she does an excellent job professionally, but could work a little bit on bed side manor.
