Dr. Slater is a confident specialist, which is what we wanted. I wasn't looking to be cuddled, I wanted results and she delivered. She is friendly yet realistic which can be hard in a difficult situation. I believe her approach is best for an infertility diagnosis. She won't give you false hope, she will give you facts and statistics. During our first meeting with her she laid out our probability for success and I cried. It seemed so unlikely given her expectations we would only have two embryos and she would only try one transfer with me given my medical issues. Two years later, her initial prediction was 100% correct. As hard as that first meeting was, we now realize she was giving us accurate expectations and not false hope. We think the world of her. During an emergency surgery situation, she visited me in the hospital every day. She was truly a partner in our journey.

Dr. Slater is incredible! She takes the time to speak directly to her patients and explain everything in terms that are understandable but not condescending.
