Some of the nurses were not very personable. At a large clinic it's important to be your own best advocate. A lot of information slips through the cracks. I was in and out of treatment for twelve years. In the end, I ended up one of the lucky ones. I am currently 28 weeks pregnant. Overall, cny is a good clinic with some good nurses and good doctors. I think they do the best they can with the science available to them.

I love the clinic, I love their protocol as well, but they have soo many patients so to get a hold of someone over the phone is a bit difficult, so be patient, look for the cny groups on Facebook to join cos they are very helpful. Alot of times you will have to advocate for your self..

They don’t give you a plan. If you want to start treatments you have to be very clear and detailed otherwise you will wait and hear nothing back. You have to be very proactive and self directed.

Everyone is so patient and understanding. We did an HSG, then three unsuccessful IUIs then I had a laparoscopy/hysteroscopy where they discovered some endometriosis, adhesions, a polyp and two small cysts. My very next IUI cycle was successful and I am currently 11 weeks pregnant with fraternal twins!

Out of all visits, there was only one, the day of retrieval, that there was a wait. For monitoring visits, I was there for an hour or less. The nurses were all very nice and attentive.

I recently completed my first egg donation at CNY Buffalo. My overall impression is that it’s a new, somewhat disorganized location that’s still working out the kinks. While the facility was homey and all of the staff members were very nice, it felt like they didn’t have a handle on me as a patient. The donation process wasn’t explained during my initial visits, and it was later discovered by one of the nurses that I was never given the literature typically given to new donors. If I hadn’t done my own research, I would’ve been completely in the dark. For instance, I wasn’t told until my final week of stimulation that the retrieval would take place at their Syracuse location! Another example of feeling like I was slipping through the cracks was when I was forgotten in a room for over 30 minutes. My blood had been drawn and I was waiting for a nurse to come in to do my vaginal ultrasound. 30 minutes went by and while I was debating whether I should get dressed so I could go say something, the nurse came in, apologizing profusely, saying she hadn’t been informed I was waiting. Also unsettling were the discrepancies in the information that was given. One example is when an MA told me I wouldn’t have a period upon completing a partial pack of birth control. This didn’t make sense to me, so I asked one of the nurses. She assured me I would indeed have a period and seemed surprised I’d asked. More alarming was the misinformation given to me about my travel arrangements to Syracuse. My retrieval was scheduled for a Friday morning, and I was told CNY would reimburse me if I wanted to stay at the Maplewood Suites the night before (which I did). After reading up on what to expect post-retrieval, I was concerned I wouldn’t be up for the 2.5 hour drive back to Buffalo that day. I decided it would be best to stay a second night in Syracuse on my own dime. However, since the reservations had to be made last-minute and my retrieval was on a Friday, I had trouble finding a vacancy at any of the nearby hotels. I emailed the nurse whom I’d been corresponding with all along asking if she had any suggestions, and she told me I would be fine to drive myself home. Luckily, I didn’t listen to her and continued my search until I found a room. On the day of retrieval, one of the things the nurse at the Syracuse office made sure of was that I had somewhere to stay afterwards. She was horrified when I told her I was given the okay to drive home. It even says on the discharge paperwork not to drive for 14-28 hours following the procedure! My impression of the Syracuse location was much more positive. The staff seemed competent and efficient as well as friendly. I met Dr. Corley and Elizabeth—an embryologist—beforehand, and both explained who they were and what they’d be doing. My nurse, Trish, was also great. The retrieval went off without a hitch. My advice to potential donors is if you’re at all uncomfortable with the clinic you’ve chosen, whether it's CNY or elsewhere, you may want to reassess. Many clinics are primarily focused on prospective parents, and while I agree this is where the focus should be, donors are entitled to equally good care. If you feel like you’re not getting the medical attention you deserve, it may not be the right clinic for you. To potential patients of any sort: If you have your heart set on CNY, I would strongly recommend you use their Syracuse office if possible.

It has been 10 years since I went to this clinic. This opportunity to write a review just came available to me. I have to say my experience was one of the worst I have had. I had surgery to remove scar tissue from a previous surgery. I was still on the table, not even fully conscious and the doctor came in. He told me I would never have children and I needed to set up IVF appt. I had been trying for 6 years to get pregnant and this surgery was my last resort. I was devastated and hysterical. He kept pushing me and hounding me in this delicate state. I was traumatized. Thank heaven he was terribly wrong. I got pregnant absolutely immediately 2 weeks after. I have never gone back to the clinic. I now have three children.

Still not pregnant but recommend this clinic. Once you find a nurse you like, just request her! They are open to lots of options and are upfront. They are using the latest technologies and that includes "alternative" suggestions like acupuncture and yoga. The desk staff are so nice! It's a hard time so the kindness makes a big difference!

Once I completed my consultation all pre-testing was completed within one month and we began IVF at my next cycle. The nurse practitioner I saw was wonderful, even gave me her cell phone number to contact her. I always saw her at my monitoring appointments. I had my monitoring appointments at the satellite location in Buffalo, NY and traveled to Syracuse, NY for retrieval and transfer. They have since opened the full service location in Buffalo. My retrieval and transfer appointments were spa like. They offer on site acupuncture and massage services at BOGO on transfer day. My husband was able to make use of the hot tub spa while I was having my procedure. The cost is affordable and they offer a payment plan.

They helped me get my miracle twins. Not only are they affordable but dr Kiltz is amazing. He's very attentive you can text him or call anytime with any questions or concerns and they just want to help you have a baby. The office itself is nice. Doesn't even seem like a clinic more like a spa. They offer spa services as well. It's just an amazing place with amazing staff! I've recommended a lot of women there who have babies or are now pregnant!

CNY is affordable and good. It is definitely worth travelling to. I do think they accept one too many patients but hey - at least they give everyone a chance to have a baby. Seriosuly look into these guys if you think you cannnot afford IVF. ] Dr. Grossman was great. Really considerate and kind. I felt like our whole procedure was in good hands. And honestly, the price cannot be beat!

They're the whole package with best nursing and doctors. They offer natural fertility boosters such as acupuncture and yoga which I liked. The communication is great as well from front-desk staff to online self-service, all worked perfectly.

The staffs are very kind, my doctor is professional and always has a positive attitude which is very helpful. The environment and warm and nice too. The only thing I want to complaint is their timeliness, my treatments have been delayed a few times in the process.
