He was always optimistic that I would get pregnant. He is also very passionate about what he does and always took the time to explain the processes of each IVF cycle. The treatment was customized for each patient and each IVF cycle was also customized. Even if I got a good outcome from the egg retrieval, he always wanted to see if I could do even better the next time around. I did 5 IVF cycles (froze all embryos) and 1 frozen embryo cycle.

We've been with Dr. Rosen for almost two years, our journey has been a long one and I will try not to bore you with all the details. We did 2 IUI rounds, 2 FET and 3 fresh IVF rounds. After our late term twin pregnancy loss, we were anxious to start the journey again, but our desire to still have a family was strong. Dr. Rosen cleared his schedule to see us as soon as we were ready. At this appointment, he assured us that he would do everything he could to get us pregnant again and that he would take great care of us - he definitely kept this promise. He shared in our highs and our lows, always listened to our concerns, provided us information to help us make the best informed decision and always made sure we felt comfortable with next steps. At UCSF, the doctors do weekly rotations to perform retrievals and transfers. Dr Rosen was not the doctor on rotation, but he went above and beyond to make sure he personally performed our retrieval and our transfer. This absolutely meant the world to me to have a familiar face and reassurance that I was getting the best care possible. Because of Dr. Rosen, we're currently pregnant with our baby due in early summer 2018! We honestly can't thank him enough!

My doctor didn't perform any of my procedures (it was always whatever doctor was "on duty" that week) so my primary interaction with him was over the phone and a few in person appointments to discuss options. So I feel rather indifferent towards him.

Dr. Rosen is very caring. He was going to take vacation during the end of my first cycle and even came in on his first day off to do my last scan.
