Dr. Kim is a good doctor. He doesn't sugar coat information and he tried to answer our questions as accurately as possible without giving us too much false hope. Sometimes it felt like I was a lab rat because there were no concrete answers and he had to run so many tests and the results were always uncertain. However, I appreciate that all of the doctor's at that clinic meet once a day to discuss all of the patients that are undergoing IVF and to compare notes on the protocols they are using and the results they have seen. That way it feels like you are getting the best protocol possibly because they are taking into consideration everyone's experience in the final decision. When I went through my cycle I only had two matured eggs and I really appreciated that Dr. Kim called me during the last few days of the process to explain to me what his thought process was and that he still felt there was a good chance for me and that he didn't want to cancel the cycle even though there were only two eggs they could extract. It was a very difficult and long process and it really helped that he called me personally to walk me through those final days of waiting for answers and results.
