Cerebral palsy sos

I have a 9 year old son with cerebral palsy. Fortunately, his motor impairments are pretty mild and no cognitive delay. On and off his whole life, he's struggled with having accidents, during the day and in his sleep. I've tried to understand why and he always seems genuine when he says he just can't feel it when it happens. I've looked into it more, and there's definitely some correlation with CP and incontinence. Any others have experience with this? I don't want to regress by having him wear diapers again, but I also feel like he can't just soil himself at school, in public, in his sleep all the time. I feel like we've tried everything to work on Toilet training but it doesn't help because it's not intentional on his part. Someone please help 😔
