Depends on the relationship. If you're close to your sister then it would be shitty to not have them in the wedding party.  If you're not that close then I think it's fine.

Mine didn't have any of us in hers. There's 4 of us. She also was pretty rude about it when she first told us she was getting married so we really didn't care that we weren't in it because she was so rude

I had my sister as a bridesmaid but we are also really close and she was fighting a brain tumor at the time I got married.
But my husband didn't have his brother as a groomsmen because they aren't super close.

I had my 4 sister's, my husbands sister as bridesmaids and step mum as maid of honour.
Honestly I would of rather just had two of my sister's and no one else, but didn't want to upset the other two.
Then my sister in-law was like I don't have any friends so this is my only chance to be a bridesmaid.
Also my step mum was really upset a few years back when her friend dropped her from maid of honour to just a bridesmaid because her sister kicked off.
So I kinda got stuck with the 6 of them,
Best advice I can give when it comes to your wedding day is: you can't please everyone one, so just please yourself (and partner)
