I dislike other children...will I like my own?

Question

I have looked after children aged 2 to 11 years and seriously can't stand most of them. They can be rude, disrespectful and annoying. I'm thinking of starting a family with my husband and worry I will think the same with my own. Has anyone else felt like this? I'm not very broody but I want my own and can't imagine life without a child.

I was sort of the same. I imagined myself with kids, just not pregnant. I don’t like kids. 
I don’t like their crying. I don’t like their attitudes. 
Then I had my son. 
So I realized I don’t like OTHER people’s kids. I’m more tolerant toward other kids now but mostly because my own kid has taught me to be nicer.  
My son is my heart and soul. I will love him beyond death.

my best friend doesn’t like babysitting other kids or other children period. she now has an almost 2 year old and an almost 5 month old, loves her own kids and is a great mom. she also loves her stepkids too. i’m not sure what it is about other people’s children that she has zero tolerance for lol

I don’t like other people’s kids except in small doses. I find them annoying for the most part. That being said I love mine more than anything.

I can’t punish someone else’s kid if they’re being a brat or disrespectful, I can mine. That’s the difference.

Honestly, I never wanted to have kids because I can’t stand them. Other people’s kids drive me nuts, that being said, I’m a FTM to an 8 month old little boy & he is my entire world. I love him to death. 
Still hate other kids tho lol 🤷🏼‍♀️
