Painful bump down there

So I'm trying to get an appointment for Thursday with my doctor but this past week I've noticed a bump above my clitoris up more towards the pubic hair area. Its a cyst like bump and over the week has just gotten bigger. I thought it was an ingrown hair but it is very deep under the skin. Its hard and painful to the touch. Has any one every had something like this?
