Hmmmm soft toys and cleaning

I have read to not wash stuffed toys because they can get moldy inside if they don’t dry out properly.

But my son is literally dribbling so much he’s soaking his toys, and I’m worried about them getting super germy, what to do?? Can I just tumble dry them even tho it says not to on the label??
