He said he loved me

The guy I've been seeing said he loved me over text after I sent him a kissy face (😘) then he followed to say "love you". I don't even know if we're dating. He never really said anything about dating. At the beginning he asked "if we had to put a label on it" and it's two months later and he says this. I'm confused
