Adding to the family!?!

How long after marriage do you think a couple should wait before trying to have babies? People always say "get to know your spouse first" and "enjoy just you two before adding to the family". Before marriage I wanted to wait at least a year just to enjoy my husband for a while. But we've been married for 7 months and I think it's about that time. How did a child affect your relationship with your spouse? Did you have to "make" time for each other? Is it stressful? Thoughts please!😊
