Teenage moms?

So not gonna lie, I've had some serious baby fever recently. I am on birth control as of right now but it's easy to reverse. I'm only 17 and headed to college. My boyfriend of a year is also 17 but is only a senior in high school. I've mentioned it to him before and it really scares him to think of himself as a dad. I know my parents would kick me out but his parents would support us. Also, I'm not sure how it would work with me being in college. Please help! Any and all opinions welcome

You're about to have the best years of your life. Why not wait until you graduate.. Are married.. And dont have to rely on your bf's parents? It sounds like he isnt ready.

I'm 17, married, 14 weeks pregnant, & couldn't be any happier. Everyone is being real supportive. At least the people that matter like my parents, my siblings, his whole family, our closest friends. Everyone else? Irrelevant. I will be 18 when I give birth, & I will continue education. I'm also going to college. & I know it WILL work out. Just staying positive 😘 goodluck on whatever you decide ❤️

I say wait until you at least have a job. Along with finished college because with a baby that would be college debt, trying to take care of a baby around classes, along with child care you have to pay for, also other expenses. It would be very hard. I also suggest waiting until you have your own place so you don't have to worry about getting kicked out. I'm 17 also with bad baby fever but the thing is, we have our own home/jobs/cars/finishing up college now/etc. so if we decided to have a child we both could support it in our own home with no worries. Plus if you're boyfriend is nervous about having a child, he may leave if your trick him in to having one. I just suggest waiting. It's not worth risking your living situation, your relationship, your future career, etc. It won't be long just be patient.

I'm 17, too, and I've wanted a baby since I was around 15. My boyfriend wants one too, but we've talked it through, and decided to wait until after we've gotten our life together.

I think that's the best thing anyone thinking of being a mom at our age could do. Just wait it out before doing major things.

You should respect that
Baby fever is crazy i know lol but
It it is REALLY something you and your boyfriend think you want
Then you should really make sure you're stable in your relationship with him
And stable emotionally. Know that you can support a baby and not need to rely on someone else to support the baby for you 
I know teen parents can be successful I've seen it
But you need to make sure it's what you really want
And you think you can handle it

Stay positive! Im 15 and have a almost 2 yr old girl i know i was young and my mom kicked me out and had to move in with my bfs mom at 13! We have been together for almost 3 years and im homeschooled but im getting an actual education its rough but if you stay positive it can work out!

If you're parents are gonna kick you out, that's a bad sign.
You're not even adults.
You've only been together a year, so it's likely he may up and leave especially if being a dad scares him.
You can't rely on his family for support - you want the baby so YOU pay for it.
Wait until you finish your education! It's gonna be so hard to go to college with a baby!

This is coming from someone of the same age who's had baby fever for a year and a half. I'm waiting until I'm like 30 so I can travel and do everything I've dreamed of.

I'm actually in the exact same situation and I am pregnant. Everyone was supportive and me and my SO are ecstatic, but honestly we still have that financial gloom over our heads keeping us from completely enjoying the experience. Our baby was a surprise but if I could go back I wouldn't.
